Given the brand concept, "Clothing that makes all the world a stage," it was no surprise that designers Akira Takeuchi and Miwa Morita went with high concept and highly theatrical looks for their Fall 2016 Theatre Products collection. Packed with embellishments, that never shined away from materials that are sometimes controversial such as furs, leathers, and lamé, the looks were clearly not intended for the minimalistic fashion fan, but they were fun and full of exuberance, something not often found in a label that has been a fashion force for 15+ years.
