As one of the photographers backstage before the show was overheard saying, A Détacher designer Mona Kowalska is a "real designer." From creating her own prints, and handwoven knits, to curating a wholly recognizable luxury-meets comfort-meets avant-garde point of view, she is among the best of the New York scene. Each season the A Détacher show is a rare fashion treat to behold; and Fall 2015 was no exception. Soft neutral colors in rounded shapes punctuated by both abstract and photographic prints offered plenty of interest for the A Détacher 'quirky girl', while tweed-like touches could be seen as appealing to the more upscale woman. All in all it was a wild success.

Here are our favorite shots from the collection.
