To be honest, as a foreigner who had no previous knowledge of the label, there was an automatic draw to any designer operating under the name Guts Dynamite Cabarets! How could anyone not be intrigued by that name? And as it turned out, the pre-show intrigue was justified as the Fall 2013 collection was one of the most sparkly, and downright saucy of the week.

Before we get to the "saucy" aspects of the show, let's talk fashion. Channeling a fun, retro-70's, thrift-store chic vibe, the collection was the kind the young creative hip-set from Brooklyn to Oakland would go nuts for. Animal prints, brightly colored furs, leather moto jackets and miles and miles of vintage sequins all made an appearance under the spotlights of the runway.

Boldly hued, and definitely brash in attitude the pieces were perfect for the street style star in all of us.
