With his debut collection, rock star turned fashion designer Yoshiki (drummer of the 90's mega metal band X Japan) pulled out all the stops for theatrical hair and beauty tapping Japan's best teams  to execute what had to be one of the most wild looks of the week.

The beauty, which was helmed by Maybelline New York Japan's Creative Director and global beauty guru, Mizu, was sexy but classic with a "neutral-smoky" eye via Maybelline's The Nudes Palette and a deep red lip via Maybelline's Line N' Design automatic lip liner.

The hair was a wild teased and faux-hawked production, that involved super-close to the scalp corn-row style braids and serious construction via hyper-elongated Kanzashi that gave the model's an imposing, and dangerous edge.

Needless to say, this was the most theatrical, and fun-to-shoot backstage of the season in Japan, I hope you guys love it as much as I did. Click on any image to launch light-box mode for best viewing, and be sure to check out our full run-of show feature in Runway.
