Titled “A Postcard from Copenhagen” the Baum und Pferdgarten Spring 2024 show played with the idea of “Copenhagen through a tourist’s eyes” as inspiration, drawing on the city’s historic maritime center, The Little Mermaid, and the Royal Palace gardens for the patterns and prints that dominated the show. An unusual take, especially in Copenhagen where the summer horde of tourists is often derided by locals, the show tapped into something that felt extremely current; the joy of being able to travel again.

The pieces in the collection really captured that joy. They were light, and youthful, sporty and just plain chic in a palette of colors that felt like a fresh start for the label, and the world.
