The natural beauty of Vietnam's ecology was a clear inspiration at designer Nguyen Cong Tri's Fall 2017 collection, which showed as part of the "Asia Fashion Meets" showcase during Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo. Floral and fauna embellished pieces seemed to explode down the runway in an abundant array of looks. Running the gamut from streetwear to formalwear there was no shortage of options in the opulent collection, and no shortage of elaborate detail. The majority of the work was hand done, pushing the collection towards the haute couture / wearable art realm and solidifying the designer's reputation as a true artisan in the industry.
