Why rack up debt on vintage-inspired Prada, buy real vintage instead!/ Image: style.comDear Haikusue:
Since the recession started I have been struggling to make ends meet. I was laid off from my job as a consultant last year, and since then have had only temp/contract jobs that pay the rent but not a lot more. I don't have a ton of material needs but I do find it really depressing not to be able to dress in the latest looks anymore. My closet used to be filled with current season Prada and now I have to scour discount racks and TJ Maxx for affordable pieces that leave me feeling frumpy. How do I keep up my personal style without jeopardising my financial security?
