Known for her elaborate, avant-garde runway shows that explode with museum-quality pieces, designer Tamae Hirokawa used butterfly motifs and delicate floral appliques as the center piece of her Somarta Spring 2013 collection. Young and fresh in a palette of yellows, blues, and greens with pops of black and grey, the collection floated down the runway in a cloud of springy exuberance.
