It is often that case that during any given fashion week menswear collections are a rare sight, and when they do appear, they are often targeted at a narrow audience and are often unwearable for most men. For its part, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo has provided a number of collections that showcase more "reasonable" menswear, and at the Whiz Limited Spring 2013 collection we had a collection that was both wearable and cool.
Designer Hiroaki Shitano of Whiz Limited excels at presenting well tailored street wear, and this collection, titled "Off City", was no exception. Vests, shorts, shirts, pants, jackets, and a myriad of accessories (including a skateboard holder) were all paraded down the black runway, all of it well cut, well proportioned, and definitely wearable.
