Between cryptic tweets from H&M' s public relations team, and the vague videos (below) which were originally thought to be of designer Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta, and have now been revealed by Women's Wear Daily as Alber Ebaz of Lanvin, New York Magazine's The Cut Blog has surmised that the next major designer collaboration with H&M will be none other than French super-house Lanvin.
The oldest French label in the industry, Lanvin has been synonymous with ultra chic pieces that come at an ultra-unaffordable price point since it's inception in 1889. Over the last decade that Ebaz has been had the helm of Lanvin the label has continually enjoyed a loyal celebrity clientele and dedicated fan base of the world's most discerning editors.
It goes without saying, should H&M deliver a well designed and well manufactured collection "Lanvin for H&M" it will be by far the most prestigious of any so far, and is sure to outshine even Comme des Garçons in sales.
