It's always intriguing when a press release comes across the Style Wylde desk from a brand new company with a product promising 'magic' results. A hard core beauty addict, but still realistic, I am always cautiously optimistic as I race out to grab the next new thing, knowing 'magic results' are not often obtainable in the beauty realm.

This time a product did not disappoint! The Pure Apothecary's Magic Moisture Stick, is indeed pretty magic.

Similar in shape and consistency to an enormous chapstick, the Magic Moisture stick is a do-it-all skin softener that works like a dream on dry cracked heals, elbows, lips, or anywhere else you have issues. It goes on smooth, absorbs quickly and lasts for hours without any sticky residue. After just three days of using it on my seriously damaged heels (seriously, so bad I didn't want to take a photo as it would frighten/disgust you guys) I am seeing major results. Cracks and peeling is almost gone and even calluses are starting to disappear. Added bonus: it smells gorgeous. Made with natural lavender and peppermint essential oils, the Magic Moisture Stick has a soothing, calming scent that de-stresses your brain as it softens your skin.

So who is The Pure Apothecary?

As it turns out this wonder-product is handmade by a small Michigan-based pure cosmetics company, which currently sells their wares only through Etsy. But with a whole line of natural based handmade goodies that pack a serious 'magic' punch it won't be long before this line is cropping up in boutiques nationwide.

The Pure Apothecary's Magic Moisture Stick sells for $8 plus S/H. For more information on the full line of Pure Apothecary products visit the company's official etsy shop
