New York: Demoo Parkchoonmoo Spring 2016

Drawing on Korean symbolism and tradition, the always creative Demi Choonmoo Park, designer of Demoo Parkchoonmoo, created a gorgeous array of pieces for her Spring 2016 collection. Using strong references to Cheongsachorong  (traditional Korean lanterns that are red and blue and made of a light gauze fabric) as well as more abstract ideas of shape and silhouette, Choonmoo Park showed off her skill for flawless construction and her keen eye for execution of ideas. The overall affect was beautiful, artful, but still accessible.
