After 16 years hosting a myriad of style events in New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, and right here in San Francisco including last week's  Discarded to Divine , Gen Art has announced that the company is closing up shop.  Throughout it's history the company has been a leading force in discovering new talent in the world of Fashion including industry heavyweights such as Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor, Chaiken, Rodarte, Louis Verdad, Milly, Philip Lim, Twinkle by Wenlan, and  Duckie Brown through its Fresh Faces competition and various events, and we here at SW are unbelievable saddened to see this important company go under.
