Friday: Starting in San Francisco, Bottom of the Hill has local boys Scissors for Lefty co-headlining with Judgement Day plus Ghost and the City and Glaciers as part of the Noise Pop festival. The all ages show starts at 9 with a $12 cover. Also as part of Noise Pop Wallpaper, The Limousines, Butterfly Bones, and Battlehooch will be playing at Slims. This is another all ages show with the show starting at 8. Elsewhere in the city Sons of Doug, Crazy Famous, Scar Pink, and The West Of are at the Hotel Utah.
Over in Oakland Bang Data with Funky C, Vomito Lriko, and Kool Kyle at the Uptown and at the Stork Club it's The Magaret Scranton Band, Luv Hed, The Hormones, and Ol' Cheeky Bastards.
Saturday: At Thee Parkside you'll find Shelby Cobra, Get Dead, The Sore Thumbs, and New York Ninjas. At Mighty Opel Productions are celebrating their 8th birthday with the UK's Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Dylan Rhymes, and Ali B plus many more. For more UK house you should get over to 1015 where they'll have the ridiculously talented Lee Burridge and Danny Howells playing together for a 6 hour set.
Bottom of the Hill continues the Noise Pop festival with Memory Tapes, Loquat, Birds & Batteries, and Letting Up Despite Great Falls. Also for Noise Pop Mezzanine has !!!, Maus Haus, Sugar & Gold, and My First Earthquake.
Over in the East Bay we start in Berkeley as hip-hop legend KRS-One pays a visit to the Shattuck Down Low. In Oakland Drop Motion and Swaybone are at the Stork Club, and over at the Uptown it's Tim & Stash's birthday bash with The Phenomenauts, Everything Must Go, Aleric, and Cheap Skate.
