In previous seasons, sibling designers Nicholas and Christopher Kunz have proved their remarkable ability for turning out exquisite outerwear. Expertly draped with intriguing details their coats, jackets and trenches are the go-to pieces that can be thrown over even the most mundane look and transform it into a show-stopper.

Instead, the pair showed the most diverse collection to date. The show was filled with complex destroyed knits, light-as-air silk dresses, and plenty of lust-worthy separates for both men and women in an inviting palette of creamy ivories, cool lavender grays, and oceanic blues with pops of turquoise olive and black.

With a modern gypsy vibe that would work equally well for the jet set world traveler, or for the SOMA entrepreneur the Nicholas K collection was easily the most wearable of the day. Relaxed, functional, but never ordinary the collection was a true breath of fresh air and it spoke volumes as to the huge future the brand has ahead of it.
