Fashion Feature: Maisonette 1977

Said to be inspired by the effortless style, and inherently chic without trying fashion seen on the streets of Paris, the Maisonette 1977 Spring 2012 collection was the embodiment of young French attitude.  Fearless without being overtly presentational, youthful, but not overly exuberant the pieces seemed to hum with understated cool.  

Neutral pastels served as the main color theme for the collection and occasional pops of teal, yellow and pink to brighten and enliven the sleek and modern  pieces.

Bicycles on loan from bowery bikes, and matching cycle-friendly accessories such as riding gloves and bags added a whimsical touch, and perfectly completed the imagery of a perfect summer day in Paris.
