With runway made of dirt, and a pre-show mini film featuring feral females, Daniel Vosovic made his avant-garde voice heard before the the first model walked at his Spring 2011 collection.

image: S.Whittle for Style WyldeOnce the show began, Vosovic followed up his initial offerings with a bevy of  earth-mother-meets-combat-chic looks that felt both soft and edgy.

By the final looks, which incorporated an elaborate webbing of lace-like bodices and impeccably tailored pants, any naysayers that doubted the young designer's prowess were easily silenced.
