At the Serpent & The Swan Spring Summer 2015 show, which debuted in Sydney earlier this week, the hair and beauty look was darkly dramatic and heavily influenced by Eastern European mythology and architecture.

Created by O&M Creative director Janelle Chaplan, it was the sleek and sophisticated "cross-parted" hair that really caught my attention. Here's how it was done:

First, hair was blow dried with a flat brush to smooth. Next hair was given a light spray of O&M Know Knott Conditioning Detangler. Hair was then sectioned using a fine tooth comb to create "specific straight line partings on the curve." Next hair was slicked into a tight-to-the-head shape using generous amounts of O&M Style Guru Styling Cream. Finally hair was finished with a heavy "painting" of O&M Frizzy Logic Shine Serum.
