This month in celebration of their 140th anniversary, iconic Japanese cosmetic brand Shiseido, is making wishes come true for the world via a very special Facebook give-away, and tree planting ceremonies benefiting the New York Restoration Project.
According to the official press release: "As part of Shiseido’s 140th anniversary celebration, consumers can make their “Wish for the World” via a virtual cherry blossom tree at www.ShiseidoWishingTree.com. For every 140 wishes made, Shiseido will plant a cherry blossom tree in NYC with New York Restoration Project"
In addition to the wishing tree project, all month long Shiseido will also be offering Facebook fans weekly chances to win their Limited Edition Carmellia Compact (retail value of $36) a not-yet launched lovely edition to the Shiseido line featuring shimmering petal-pink, rich rose, and icy platinum tones swirled together in one easy to transport compact, which was used at the Band of Outsiders Fall 2012 Runway show.
